It Is Not IF You Will Need It - It Is A Matter Of WHEN You Will Need It! Do Yourself A Favor!

Not a matter of IF but When!

Just A Matter of When!

Yesterday afternoon around five pm I received an unexpected call from one of my favorite family members! We had talked earlier this week as Thursday was her Birthday…and I wanted to wish her well and plan something for us to do this month to celebrate that wonderful event! Family is wonderful…and for me it is always fun to celebrate birthdays with them.

It Is Not IF You Will Need It - It Is A Matter Of WHEN You Will Need It! Do Yourself A Favor!

I knew something important was up when I received this call on a Friday afternoon…and very soon after we exchanged pleasantries she said…tell me where you got your  ”legal plan”  that you pay for monthly.

I shared the information that she wanted  and she was pleased.

Do you get the picture? You never know when you are going to need an attorney…however the odds are that each of us will need one at least twice each year. Most of us just let the other party’s legal contract apply, give in to the other party, let them pay for the attorney, or somehow find a way to personally avoid the costs…nobody wants to pay $300 per hour or more…however there are times when it is entirely too costly not to do so … and never very smart.

Top Law Firms

Law Firm

Personally, since I elected to purchase a legal plan  in 9/2011 I have used my legal plan (46) times with excellent results. This legal service has saved me thousands of dollars since 2011 and I am incredibly pleased with the quality and promptness of all of my requests to the law firm. And the words are “Law Firm”…not just a lawyer…as I have needed several different types of attorneys for different purposes…and a qualified attorney in my field of need always calls me.

For you…for me…for anyone…you will in all likelihood need the services of an attorney. It is not a matter of IF…it is a matter of WHEN. Why not give yourself (and your family) the peace of mind of knowing that you always have  a trusted legal advisor to go to and that you don’t have to get out the checkbook.

You can solve this is in the next 15-30 minutes by visiting the following site..

Americans personal identity now is at greater risk than it has ever been.  As we have just experienced 40-70 million people’s personal credit card data being stolen from Target…and the Federal Government is spending millions of dollars in advertising to get Americans to use the Obamacare.gov website that professionals testify is absolutely unsecure,  the risks increase.

Identity Theft of Social Security Card

Identity Theft of Social Security Numbers

And since you can’t stop all this…you can only have it monitored, get notified rapidly, and then it has to be fixed taking 3 years in many cases…and some cases are never resolved….who is going to fix it for you? Do you have access to your data in all the databases around the U.S. and world? Do you have the time to act as an ID Theft detective and get authorization from the banks and credit bureaus and government to check on all your data? Really?  Are you serious?

Don’t kid yourself, it is ridiculous to think that you can put your identity back together by yourself….even if you do have an insurance policy to reimburse you for your time and effort. Can you afford the time?

My professional opinion is that you really need experienced, licensed investigators with legal Limited Power of Attorneys to help you with restoring your identity. And for this reason I choose to represent a company that I believe to be the best in the industry to do this for you.  I write about these subjects as a retired Financial Advisor that wants to help you personally with the best possible solutions available in case your identity is stolen. And if you watch the video in the first article above it will tell you all about it. And if you just want the quick solution to get started go here and select your choice of products and sign up within 10 minutes…

Examples of Identity Theft Schemes - Fiscal Year 2013

The following examples of identity theft schemes are written from public record documents on file in the court records in the judicial district in which the cases were prosecuted.

Two Sentenced for Participating in Identity Theft Scam
On September 30, 2013, in Los Angeles, Calif., Michael Williams, of Palmdale, was sentenced to 33 months in prison and ordered to pay $787,086 in restitution. Mike Niko, of Los Angeles, was sentenced to 15 months in prison and ordered to pay $104,662 in restitution. According to court documents, from May 2008 through July 2010, Williams and Niko conspired with others to defraud the United States by using the personal identifying information of various individuals to file false tax returns claiming fraudulent tax refunds. A co-conspirator stole names and social security numbers from the California Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) computer system. The fraudulent returns claimed the First Time Home Buyer Credit and/or Earned Income Credit. Purporting to be tax preparers, Williams and Niko established bank accounts for the purpose of receiving the refunds claimed on the false tax returns.

Reducing Your Risks

Reduce Your Risk

Peace of Mind!
Image: getinnovativetoday.com

Would you include more security, less risk and less worry as one of the best gifts that you can give your family and loved ones this Christmas? If you do then you really should read this post.

Reducing Your Risks

This week we learned of several additional major ways that our identity can be compromised and as a result could disrupt our lives. Unfortunately there are really no ways to stop or prevent identity theft from occurring. What we can do effectively is to constantly monitor our important identification data such as Social Security numbers, Driver’s License numbers, credit card numbers, debit card numbers, bank account numbers, email passwords, medical records, invoices,  bills, and any other records that may contain our important data…and now to include digital cameras that are remote or built into computers. Constant monitoring will reveal unusual activity and then you must be proactive to correct the invasion of your data.

Here is what most people do not understand about “correcting any theft or misuse of your data”. Read this carefully!

As a private citizen you do not have access to the high security online data bases that contain your personal information! You cannot  investigate or track or evaluate that information because you do not have authorized access. The solution that I use to monitor my information and restore my identity provides licensed investigators (with offices around the world), using limited legal power of attorney to access and monitor my data, to investigate the theft of my personal identity and to restore my identity if at all possible.

Can you imagine what you would have to do in case your identity were stolen and you had to take your time and money to correct the situation? And I choose not to protect my data with an insurance policy that reimburses me for some of my  expenses of restoration as I do not have the time, the money, and data access to correct the issues. Sometimes it takes up to three years to restore a persons identity if ever.

As the risk of Identity Theft pervades our society more and more each day, the value of having your critical data monitored constantly as well as having a team of licensed professionals to restore your identity…becomes much more important. Just consider all the ways your data can be stolen or compromised including department stores, websites, medical records, online purchases, theft of social security numbers at childbirth and many more ways.

I pay $9.95 per month for my monitoring and restoration service and would not take anything for it. You can choose to use the the same service by going here… http://bit.ly/1eviQsP . It takes about five minutes to sign up for this service. I have used the service now for two years and I am very pleased with the immediate reports and monthly reports of any activity.  The service is provided by a leading investigative service company now in successful business for more than 40 years. Basic and comprehensive plans are available. __________________________________________________________________________ abc7news.com - KGO Bay Area News

Security holes found in HealthCare.gov

The Washington Post          Published: Saturday, December 21, 2013, 12:01 a.m. WASHINGTON -

Significant security vulnerabilities are still being uncovered in the Obama administration’s health-insurance website, nearly three months after the launch of HealthCare.gov. Officials discovered two such vulnerabilities, known as “high findings,” within the past month, including one this week, Teresa Fryer, chief information security officer for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, told the House Oversight Committee this week in an interview. Fryer said that both issues were being addressed. Read more: ___________________________________________________________________________

How Much Is Your Identity Worth?

Identity Theft Image: frederikabank.com

Identity Theft
Image: frederikabank.com

How Much Is Your Identity Worth?

I heard an expert on Identity Theft give a presentation today…and he asked… HOW MUCH IS   YOUR IDENTITY WORTH?  To You? To Someone Else? What value would you place on your own personal identity? How would you calculate the value? Would it be in dollars? Is it one year’s earnings? Two or three years earnings?  It could amount to all of your assets. Is your identity measured  in terms of emotions? Identity theft delivers a powerful negative emotional impact to the victim. Most say their lives will never be the same after it happened to them. Is it measured in terms of time? Victims say that they have been attempting to repair their identity, credit, reputation and other related personal items for years.

Some victims say that they are no longer able to buy a home or car or make a major purchase as their information has been tarnished. The real impact of identity theft can be unimaginable! It would be very difficult to accept the fact that someone else is using my identity, my bank accounts, my social security number, my medical records information, my drivers license, and for someone to state to other people that they were me attending work using my name! How would you feel about this? So let me ask you these questions…

Should you try to protect your identity from others using it?      Why?   Why not?

What can happen if someone else uses your identity?

What can you do about it?

What will that person who stole your identity do to your life and lifestyle?

Who will protect your identity?

How can you protect your identity?

Thinking about the subject of someone stealing your identity is not pleasant…but not to think about it is even worse…It can be that it is irresponsible.  I just have seen enough people get hurt that part of my life is dedicated to helping others avoid the trauma that losing your identity can bring. I am a strong advocate that every citizen needs the best identity theft protection for themselves and their children. The best plan that I am aware of  provides for restoration of identity by licensed investigators. I also recommend coupling that with with a family legal plan to provide the optimum in identity theft and legal plan protection.

I suggest that you need to inform yourself and your friends that there is an alternative which is much preferred by those who have been informed about the differences.  Once someone’s identity has been stolen, the preferable solution is restoration to the original status before the theft. This includes credit positions, positions with banks, drivers licenses, social security numbers, medicare records, medical records, and many agencies that have your data.

Very few people are aware that preventing identity theft is virtually impossible.  Even more do not realize what courses of action must be taken once their identity has been stolen. Very few people realize that in order to restore your identity that it will take many hours and typically years of effort to contact all of the parties that have your identity data that may have been negatively impacted. Do you know in how many digital data bases your personal identity resides? And in what locations, companies, government agencies, hospitals, employers, stores, suppliers could your data be located? Do you as an individual have access to all of these locations around the world?

I recommend that you consider solutions  from these sources…

Again, I sincerely recommend that you protect yourself for identity theft, including your children, and when you do so, be sure to look for an identity theft package that does not just mail you the do-it-yourself forms for you to correct the issues, but for a solution that includes their own staff of licensed investigators using power of attorneys and working with very reputable provider attorney firms. This is quite different from you doing the work and requesting reimbursement after the work is completed.

Critical Thinking! Be Honest With Yourself! How Long Before You Will Need…?

Critical Thinking

Critical Thinking
Image: www.apologetics315.com

For those who read this post, you have an interest in achieving financial independence and accumulating more money and assets than you will need during your lifetime, and to accomplish that very intelligently using the very best decisions and advice,  by protecting you and your loved ones for maximum security, and finally, by protecting yourself from loss of your personal data and identity.

This post is about how I can help you achieve any and all of these goals. If you are not interested in meeting these goals, then this information is not intended for you. Thanks for stopping by! I believe that there is at least 1% of the population who are interested in achieving financial independence and I am searching to find them. Are you one of the 1%? Do you know someone who is?  If so, why not take this information seriously, read and listen carefully with honest critical thinking, and contact me  to let me know you are interested. Together we can do this! I can show you how to accomplish your goals!

Now to the fundamental questions that will be your motivations and your WHY!  It is essential that you be extremely honest with yourself in answering each question below.  If you get a YES answer to any one of the questions then you owe it to yourself to do something about it. How long have you known the answer was YES to any question and kicked the can down the road? Delayed? Procrastinated? Put off?  Why would you procrastinate  a day longer if you had extremely cost-effective, proven, unmatched solutions to begin solving each one today? And someone standing ready to help you achieve them? These are real solutions that can pay you back more than you invest in them. Here are your questions my friend…

Critical Thinking! Be Honest With Yourself! How Long Before You Will Need…?

  • More income and assets than you have right now?

  • To hire an attorney for any purpose?
  • Someone to help you recover your identity losses and restore your identity?

Let’s begin with your Legal Rights!  If we don’t know your legal rights – you don’t have any! Have your legal rights ever been challenged? Have you ever wished that you had a lawyer that you could call on but you chose not to do so? Why? Cost? Didn’t know one? Trust? Did it yourself?

The most cost-effective solution is a monthly Legal Plan with a closed-panel law firm available to you for less than $1 per day. More than 7,000 highest quality attorneys are available in 49 states to work with you within 8 working hours of your call-in. All you need is your membership number and their telephone number and you can talk to your legal firm’s attorney staff…across the U.S. and 4 provinces of Canada…all proven now for more than 40 years serving 1.4+ million clients. Can you imagine having your own attorney firm on retainer just like millionaires do? It can make a world of  difference in so many circumstances…and save you thousands of dollars in the process!

Here’s just one more of the 1,000’s of testimonials our company gets about our legal membership…

Thank You David Bruerd for Member Stories!

‘REAL Results’ Member Story of the Day - Dealing with the BIG Bank:

“One of my first ever uses of the service saved me about $4,000. I had just gotten my membership a few days before. I received a letter from a large nationwide bank informing me that my line of credit with them was changing. The change was a significant increase of my interest rate. I called the bank to opt out of the change as was commonly part of the process. I was informed by the bank that there was no opt out policy, the letter I received as a “courtesy” notification on the mandatory change to my loan. Now, my loan agreement called for a fixed rate for the life of the loan. I mentioned this to the representative. She said that the agreement had changed and the increase was going through regardless.

In the past when put in this position I had bluffed and said that “you” would be hearing from my attorney. As I could not normally afford $200-300 an hour for this type of representation it was always a bluff. Now, having my legal plan provider, I meant it. The representative scoffed and told me flat out that I was free to have an attorney contact them, it would do no good.

I called my law firm and was contacted within two hours by one of the senior partners. After I faxed him the letter from the bank we talked about the situation. He was frank with me. He felt that I had little or no evidence that I could use to prove that my interest rate was locked in and guaranteed. He did however feel that a letter on my behalf may help. There were several regulatory agencies sited in the letter from the bank. He thought that by CC’ing them we might help with the matter but he felt it was a long shot. I was very pleased with his honesty about the situation and after all, there was no additional cost to me so having a letter sent on my behalf made total sense, regardless of the outcome.

To make a long story short my law firm sent a strongly worded letter to the bank and copied the regulatory agencies.

Almost exactly 10 days later, I received a letter from this national bank, apologizing for the misunderstanding with my account. They were happy to inform me that there were no changes to my loan! I had a friend in the banking industry review the changes that were proposed by the bank and he determined that the letter from my law firm saved me about $4,000 dollars! In essence, that one use alone paid for my membership for about 19 years!”

And here’s a few more… Member Stories

And next…Identity Theft

Identity Theft in 2012 was for the 12th year the highest incidence of crime reported to the FTC and is increasing in frequency.  Identity Theft occurs in more than five major areas, not just on bank instruments and credit cards. It also occurs on Social Security numbers and especially income tax filing, Medicare and medical records with your insurance ID numbers, with driver’s license numbers, with pure theft of someone’s name and identification, and on the internet by data theft. Banks do not monitor all of these numbers and data possibilities so they cannot protect you for everything as is mistakenly thought. If you think your bank ID theft protection has you covered for all options you really need to investigate that much deeper. That is the tip of the iceberg.

We’re told to monitor our credit, to protect ourselves from identity theft. But who knew to apply that same wisdom to our offspring? Last year the number of ID theft victims reached 12.6 million, up 1 million from the previous year, according to a Javelin Strategy and Research Identity Fraud Report released Feb. 20, 2013.

According to the AllClear ID 2012 Child Identity Theft Report, about one in every 40 households with young children is being affected.  Does your ID theft protection cover your children? It should as they are extreme targets especially their social security numbers.

Would you like to have a monthly ID protection plan for you, your partner and your children, at one of the lowest costs in the industry, that provides for monitoring of all of your five identity risk data areas, and includes restoration by licensed investigators? You would never be able to access all of your private data around the world to restore your identity, nor could you afford the time from work or the expenses, however this solution takes care of that for you. This is another industry leading 40-year old solution by the world’s best investigative firm doing business with major corporations and government agencies.

Now on the business side—let’s talk about increasing your income and assets. This could be an immediate need for you now or it could be a need that you have some time to work on!

Can you relate to the message below? If so…here is a great solution for you to build financial independence and make any days of the week vacation if you like!

It’s really sad that most people live their lives in quiet desperation looking forward to the weekend so they can own their own lives for two days….

https://scontent-a-dfw.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc3/1374993_10152681221213475_882742534_n.jpg

Earl Nightingale said that the reason only 5% or 1 in 20 in Americans is financially independent and 19 are not is one word –conformity! Are you stuck in a rigid conformity pattern or do you want financial independence?

Start part time in our business and you can build it up over time so that you can own your own life everyday by having an ongoing residual income that you OWN!

Or start full time and maybe you can do what many others have done and earn $100K in B to B sales in your first year.

Or you can just work as an employee with no security and build other’s dreams instead of yours all your life.

You will not find a better opportunity than this one!

Watch this Overview and get back to me.

Thanks.

Financial Independence
  • Do you have your own business now?

  • Are you thinking of starting a business soon?

  • Do you need to find a solid business opportunity?

  • Would you like to protect yourself against legal risks?

  • Would you like  to protect yourself against Identity Theft?

  • Do you believe that a good Marketing Strategy can help your business grow?

If you say yes to any of the above questions…here are some great

“Important Tips For More Financial Independence”

Here are some straightforward answers to the above questions.

  • For the  first question, “Do You Have Your  Own Business Now”?, in case you don’t want  a business…just move to the fourth question down as that may apply to you. If your answer is yes to this question then I have more questions for you…1) are you satisfied with the growth and  profitability of  your business? 2) are you using legal and consulting advice to assist you and is  it costing you over $1,000 per year? 3) and if your business could benefit from lower costs and greater professional legal advice then just fill out the “Request For Free 30 Minute Consultation Form” on the right column and I will contact you  promptly.  I also recommend that you read another Post on  this blog…http://dannorrisblog.com/small-business-owner-reduce-costs/…and there are more relavent Posts here under the Small Business Tab at the top of  the page.
  • For the second and third questions if your answer is yes, just fill out the “Request For Free 30 Minute Consultation Form” on the right column and I will contact you  promptly. You also may be interested in reading Posts under the Business Opportunity Tab at the top of the page.
  • For the question “Would  You Like To Protect Yourself Against Legal Risks”?… only those who  have this totally covered can honestly say no…and the remaining 80-90% of the U.S. and Canadian population need to say yes. I call upon all responsible people to take a look at these two sites and make a decision in your best interests. You can begin  on-going coverage today for $17 or $26 per month. Please watch this…http://dannorrisblog.com/legal-issues-why-not-seek-attorneys-for-help/. You also may be interested in reading Posts under the Legal Plan Tab at the top of the page.
  • For the question “Would you like  to protect yourself against Identity Theft?…anyone who says no and does not have “economical” protection obviously has their head in sand. As a conscious citizen you  must have heard or read that Identity Theft has been the  greatest Consumer  Crime for the last 12 years, and is more costly than illicit drug  crimes. In 2012 we had over 12 million people who suffered through the results of this crime. It cannot be  stopped…only the results can be corrected! Again I call upon all  responsible people to take  a look at these two  sites and make a decision  in your best interests. You can begin on-going coverage today for $9.95/$12.95 or $19.95/24.95 per  month. The first figures are with a Legal Plan and the second are standalone. I recommend that  you watch this video at…http://dannorrisblog.com/identity-theft-6-reasons-to-have-the-right-protection-with-restoration/ .You also may be interested in reading Posts under the Identity Theft Tab at the top of the page.
  • For the question “Do you believe that a good Marketing Strategy can help your business grow?”…I recommend that you read these two brief articles by industry leaders in Attraction Marketing, Ann Sieg, and Blogging,  Ty Tribble (#1 Blogger). I encourage you also to fill out the “Request For Free 30 Minute Consultation Form” on the right column and I will contact you  promptly.      http://dannorrisblog.com/attraction-marketing-the-lighter-side/. Woman Chases Down Identity Thief - Good Morning America

Karen Karen Lodrick

Woman Chases Down Identity Thief - Good Morning America

When you invest a few minutes on the subject of an identity thief….which should be at the top of your priority list for you and those that you love…we can find some very interesting information. I found this incredible story recently about a young woman in San Francisco that recognized from bank videos the person in Starbucks that stole her identity…and then chased down her identity thief through the streets of San Francisco…no easy task…and called 911…asked a cab driver to stop because the woman was a thief…and the police came and arrested her…the victim showed incredible courage and determination to have this person arrested.  This brave and determined young woman victim is named Karen Lodrick…and you can begin to learn about her here…she is a heroic young woman!

 http://fightingbacknow.com/

Fortunately, the San Francisco media heard the story and it was reported on Good Morning America in the following film clip…

Karen Lodrick on Good Morning America

As you heard in the video, the thief received 43 days  in jail and 3 months probation…a trifling sentence for all the trauma that she put Karen through.  This is incredibly unfair to the victim…and it sends no message to the thief that if you do this you will be punished. Until we recognize the seriousness of and punish criminals for these kinds of crimes on our fellow man, then we will only see an increase in the activity.

Karen Lodrick has proceeded to become an advocate, teacher, and speaker about Identity Theft. Her life will never be the same since that event. And she is one of the few that at least caught the perpetrator. And because of our laws…there was minimum justice.

LegalShield and Kroll Investigative Services Solutions

I sincerely recommend that you protect yourself for identity theft, including your children, and when you do so, be sure to look for an identity theft package that does not just mail you the do-it-yourself forms for you to correct the issues, but includes their own staff of licensed investigators using power of attorneys and working with very reputable provider attorney firms. This is quite different from you doing the work and requesting reimbursement after the work is completed. In many cases you will not qualify for reimbursement from an insurance policy that has exclusions. To protect  yourself and your loved ones, including your children,  with the LegalShield and Kroll Investigative Services Identity Theft Shield protective memberships you can sign up for and begin these memberships now by clicking on this site…

Consider A Plan For Personal and Small Business Risks

Personal and Small Business Risks
Image-www.investmenteurope.net

The topic today is on the subject of…

“Consider A Plan For Personal and Small Business Risks”

Do you or your family ever feel at risk about anything? You may be so fortunate that you are blessed with total “peace of mind”! Or maybe some risks concern you. If they do then the next question is do you think you should do anything to minimize those risks? This post suggests that you take a few minutes to reflect on major risk areas in your lives and decide if you should take any actions. As humans, we are much more concerned with fear than with any other emotion that we experience…so why not explore ways to address our fears?

  • Financial Budgeting and Cash Flow Risks… Includes meeting your financial obligations such as paying your mortgage and bills and having enough money to do all the things you want to do including having extra money for travel, college, vacation, retirement, second home and more!
  • Career risks… Are you satisfied with your career and future employment situation? Are your earnings needs being met? Look good for the future? Do you have a Plan B?  Could additional and multiple income streams benefit your lifestyle and degree of financial independence?
  • Disability Income Risks… In the event of accident or long-term illness do you have protection for these possibilities?
  • Personal Legal Risks… Includes those events that are subject to laws, actions by others who may want to file legal actions against you, by people who may not abide by the laws and adversely affect you, traffic violations, court representation and accidents,  which occur and may bring significant legal actions and consequences. What happens to you and your family in case of trivial or traumatic legal issues? Do you have any way to cover these costs? Do you know and trust good attorneys in all fields of law?
  • Identity Theft Risks… The risks associated with someone stealing your personal name and identity and using it or selling it to someone else, using your Social Security number and filing your tax return or using it for employment, your Drivers License number to avoid arrests or to gain the ability to drive, your checking account to gain access to your cash assets, and credit cards to purchase goods illegally. For (12) years now this has been the largest consumer complaint crime in the U.S. and some 30,000 new victims of identity theft wake up each morning to this very horrible event that many times takes professionals to access your private data and years to restore.
  • Medical Risks… Includes health issues whether caused by natural or accidental reasons. Most everyone would agree that if you do not have good health that all of your other aspects of life are very much in question. It is imperative that we maintain good health! Do you have good medical protection to protect you against depletion of your assets as well as adequate cash reserve and/or disability income insurance to sustain you through an extended period of time?
  • Home Ownership and Rental Risks… Includes those risks that occur in the event of fire, flood or personal activities on properties. Do you have insurance on your property, personal items, and personal injury, accident or lawsuit?
  • Automobile Risks… Includes risks of damage or destruction of property and injury to individuals. Do you have also have legal coverage to pay your family’s legal costs to represent you in the case of being charged with accidental homicide? Ask your agent if you have this legal representation? Rarely does an automobile policy include such coverage.
  • Small Business Ownership Risks… Includes thousands of issues involving legal contracts, reading and modifying contracts, legal advice and counsel, legal representation in case of suits,  legal costs, property costs, liability costs, healthcare costs and many others. See the study performed for Small Business at this site… Do You Have A Plan For Affordable Legal Services As A Small Business Owner?

Do you have a budget planned for each of these potential risk areas? Most of us have heard and may be protected for the several areas of risks mentioned above, however, 90% of the population are not really aware of how to protect themselves from legal risks, identity theft risks and small business legal and growth risks. Do you agree that there are risks in these areas of living? Do you think that it may be a good idea to protect yourselves for these risks?

Many millions of Americans now have these legal issues, and due to unaffordable costs, not knowing a qualified attorney, or not knowing what to do next, they just do nothing. It is my intention to inform you about solutions to solve these issues, at costs that you can afford, and to give you options of what to do next.

Social Change Brings New Risks-Legal Issues and Identity Theft

This post describes how “Social Change Brings New Risks”

As citizens in the U.S. we usually seek out our insurance professionals and financial planning professionals to recommend a program of personal risk management to us. Typically this program includes health insurance, life insurance, automobile insurance, home owners insurance, disability insurance, renter’s insurance, long term care insurance, flood insurance, umbrella insurance and perhaps a few others. Ironically, two of the best kept secrets in the U.S and Canadian societies is that two of our major personal risks that we currently face are for legal issues and for identity theft.

ID Theft Laptop

Identity Theft by Laptop

According to a recent study, some 57 million Americans had legal issues last year and only about 60% dealt with them using the services of an attorney. This means that some 22 million people did not deal with their legal issues using a professional attorney.

Next, many do not realize the fact that identity theft has been the largest FTC consumer theft complaint for 12 years, and now exceeds the costs to consumers of the illegal drug trade . Thieves have realized that identity theft is much easier and much less dangerous to accomplish. In 2011 more than 11 million people in our country were victims of identity theft…and each day some 30,000 people awake to learn their identity has been stolen.[/dropshadowbox]

LegalShield is a 40+ year old company that provides effective, economical solutions for these two key issues. The public is realizing in growing numbers the importance of legal protection and identity theft shield. The gradual transition to recognizing that these issues are very important comes from recent information to explain the importance of these risks. The world changes and so do our risks change. Employers are also becoming aware in these challenging economic times that more than 60% of employee absences appear to be caused by employee stress. Both of these products by LegalShield provide solutions that reduce stress on individuals. Click on the banner below for more information…

Identity Theft - 6 Reasons To Have The Right Protection With Restoration

Today’s topic is about protecting your personal identity, your assets, your personal identification data and especially that of your partner and children!

Identity Theft - 6 Reasons To Have The Right Protection With Restoration

ID Theft

Identity Theft

Identity Theft in 2012 was for the 12th year the highest incidence of crime reported to the FTC and increasing in frequency.

We’re told to monitor our credit, to protect ourselves from identity theft. But who knew to apply that same wisdom to our offspring? Last year the number of identity theft victims reached 12.6 million, up 1 million from the previous year, according to a Javelin Strategy and Research Identity Fraud Report released Feb. 20, 2013.

According to the AllClear ID 2012 Child Identity Theft Report, about one in every 40 households with young children is being affected.

ID Theft of Children

Identity Theft of Children

Let me share the top 6 reasons in my opinion that each of us that is truly interested in protecting our assets and data,  needs the best in identity theft protection and restoration:

1.   There is virtually no way to stop identity theft. You can only monitor the most relavent data and financial activities to take action as quickly as possible to minimize the adverse consequences.

2.   As a regular citizen you do not have the time nor access to all of the places in the world where your financial and identification data is being shared.

3. To monitor all of your necessary data requires an extensive system of international data monitoring using licensed investigators to access and monitor your transactional data anywhere in the world. You do  not have this capability and personally, I know of only one company in the world that does this.

5.   In the event that your identity is stolen, it is highly recommended to employ licensed investigators with limited powers of attorney to analyze, access, identify the guilty, and restore your identity to it’s original status. It usually takes 300-700 manhours to restore someone’s identity when it has been severely damaged.

6   It is my opinion that if you must do the identity restoration yourself, requiring typically 300-700 manhours of effort, that you will need to take significant time off from your work to try to accomplish the complex tasks. If you are being reimbursed by an insurance policy to do the  work yourself there will be questions as to what is to be reimbursed and the money costs to do so will come out of your pocket first.   Unless you can enlist expert investigators, it is doubtful that you can access all your data to determine the issues.

Once identity theft occurs to an individual their lives can be essentially shut-down financially. It is very wise to consider an economical identity theft guard program with restoration to protect yourself.

The above information provides valuable background and rationale as to why you should protect yourself and family members with a good identity theft protection solution.

I encourage you evaluate alternatives on the market.

————————————————————————————————————————-

I recommend that you obtain Identity Theft Shield with LegalShield and Kroll Investigative Services… before identity theft occurs as it costs much more after the fact. I do not know of another organization that has the capability of restoring your identity with licensed investigators, and with the option of having attorney legal services at the same time to give legal recommendations.

Identity theft affects millions of Americans each year. LegalShield offers two high quality identity theft plans.

I sincerely recommend for your protection that you decide to take action to protect yourselves from identity theft damage very soon!. Further, I invite you to let me know of any additions to this information that you believe would be helpful to others.

How Important Is Protecting Your Personal Identity?

Is it important to protect your identity?

Child Identity Theft
1 in 40 Are Victims-see studies below
Image: myid.com

So you consider yourself a very responsible person right? Do you ever procrastinate about something you should have done years ago? How about this one?

Let me ask you a very personal question? Which is more important to you…having an affordable health care insurance policy or protecting your personal identity information?

Wow…really a tough question. Most have never even considered the two together. Lack of either can destroy all the assets that you have ever accumulated…plus more! My answer is that they are both vital to our successful existence in today’s society! We really don’t want to lose either one do we? We just don’t pay as much attention to identity theft…unless we lose it and then it is catastrophic…we can’t get a prescription or some therapy to cure the malady… identity theft is usually catastrophic.

How Important Is Protecting Your Personal Identity?

I write many posts on the subject of protecting your personal identity….like  How Much Is Your Identity Worth?”…because I am convinced that it is one of the best things that I can do for $10 to $25 per month to have someone constantly monitoring all of my key personal data and that has a staff of investigative professionals who can work around the world to restore my identity in case it gets stolen. For your own protection I invite you to take a look at the Identity Theft Shield banner on the right margin and bottom of this page and compare those offerings against all others on the market. These are products that I personally have used for years and offer them to the public as an independent distributor. My personal opinion is that there are no equals  or better on the market.

Have you noticed that most all of the talk show hosts also offer a solution for identity theft? Why? Surely to pay the bills… but more importantly…We all believe that we are providing something that you vitally need to protect you…as a valuable service…the way of the great American capitalistic market!

How Much Does Identity Theft Cost?

[INFOGRAPHIC]

By Jolie O’dell      January 28/ 2011

Online fraud and related crime is on the rise, affecting more lives and costing individuals and businesses more money year after year.

Not too long ago, we showed you what identity theft and online fraud costs from the criminals’ point of view. For example, a cybercriminal could set up a fake online store, designed to steal e-mail addresses, passwords, names and credit card numbers, for between $30 and $300.

But what do these kinds of theft cost consumers?

Identity Theft Victim Statistics

Approximately 15 million United States residents have their identities used fraudulently each year with financial losses totalling upwards of $50 billion.*

On a case-by-case basis, that means approximately 7% of all adults have their identities misused with each instance resulting in approximately $3,500 in losses.

Close to 100 million additional Americans have their personal identifying information placed at risk of identity theft each year when records maintained in government and corporate databases are lost or stolen.
These alarming statistics demonstrate identity theft may be the most frequent, costly and pervasive crime in the United States.
