Whenever I need to feel good about my country I think of all the men and women who have given their lives to get us to where we are today. Thank God for our Military and Brave Men and Women who have sacrificed in so many ways to give us our freedoms…our Constitution…our land…and our rights.  Don’t know about you however I am very proud to be an American! I love this country and would give my life to protect it. I invite you to join me in saluting our Armed Forces and all the energy, blood and commitment they have given to provide what we have today. Let no man or woman ever compromise these rights in any way. We are the beacon of freedom for the world…everyone does not understand that…but those who do need to make sure that we hold our leaders responsible for what they do…we cannot compromise ourselves in any way!

Barry White, born Barry Eugene Carter (September 12, 1944 – July 4, 2003), was an American composer and singer-songwriter.

A two-time Grammy Award-winner known for his distinctive bass voice and romantic image, White’s greatest success came in the 1970s as a solo singer and with the Love Unlimited Orchestra, crafting many enduring soul, funk, and disco songs such as his two biggest hits, “You’re the First, the Last, My Everything” and “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe.” Along with Isaac Hayes, White is considered by Allmusic.com as a pioneer of disco music in the early 1970s.

During the course of his career in the music business, White achieved 106 gold albums worldwide, 41 of which also attained
platinum status. White had 20 gold and 10 platinum singles, with worldwide sales in excess of 100 million, according to critics Ed Hogan and Wade Kergan.[1] His influences included Rev. James Cleveland, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin plus Motown artists The Supremes, The Four Tops and Marvin Gaye.

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, and political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. During the American Revolution, the legal separation of the Thirteen Colonies from Great Britain occurred on July 2, 1776, when the Second Continental Congress voted to approve a resolution of independence that had been proposed in June by Richard Henry Lee of Virginia declaring the United States independent from Great Britain.  After voting for independence, Congress turned its attention to the Declaration of Independence, a statement explaining this decision, which had been prepared by a Committee of Five, with Thomas Jefferson as its principal author. Congress debated and revised the wording of the Declaration, finally approving it on July 4. A day earlier, John Adams had written to his wife Abigail:

The second day of July, 1776, will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. The Texas Tenors

The Texas Tenors is a classical crossover trio vocal group formed in 2009 by country music singer JC Fisher, pop singer Marcus Collins and opera singer John Hagen. They were a top four finalist in the fourth season of America’s Got Talent making them the highest ranking vocal group in the show’s history.[1] As of 2013 the group has performed more than 600 shows in over 20 countries including Great Britain and China. They can be seen in Branson, MO where they were named the Critic’s Choice Group of the Year for 2011, Best Vocal Group of the Year for 2012,[2] and the Best Legacy Group for 2013.[3] The trio has also filmed a PBS special, performing songs from their second album “You Should Dream”, which first aired nationwide in November 2013. The Texas Tenors partner with several charity organizations including Homes For Our Troops and ChildFund.[4]
